The trailer is the first look at Little Hope’s gameplay which should be familiar to anyone that played Man of Medan, or to a lesser extent, Until Dawn.

Players still move along the game, engaging in conversation with other characters and deciding how they want to respond which can improve or worsen their relationship with them, and thus, how the story eventually plays out.

Little Hope, like Man of Medan and Until Dawn, will feature lots of different branching story paths which will effect whether or not characters will live or die.

The Little Hope gameplay shows off its creepy setting which checks off all the horror tropes. Foggy woods? Check. Shadows out of the corner of your eye? Check. Condescending non-believer? Check. Creepy kids, singing creepy songs? Check. Jump scares? Oh definitely check there.

Check out the trailer for yourself below. We don’t know much about the story yet, but it seems to revolve around witchcraft, and may feature some kind of time traveling or ghostly element to it. At least based on the limited public knowledge we’ve seen so far.

Little Hope was recently delayed out of the summer and into fall of this year. Considering it’s creepy woodland setting, fall just seems to fit better anyway.
