Today Spike Chunsoft announced with a press release that Re:ZERO – Starting Life in Another World: The Prophecy of the Throne will be released in the west.
The game was announced a few days ago for Japan and today we learn that the western release will come for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam this winter.
The console versions will also have a physical day-one edition including a set of pins also teasing a brand new character yet to be revealed.
A Collector’s Edition will also include a Steelcase, an art book, and a soundtrack.
The standard edition (including the Day One edition) will cost $59.99, while the Collector’s Edition will be priced at $89.99.
The genre is “tactical adventure,” which basically means a hybrid between a tactical RPG and a visual novel.

One month after Subaru’s new life in another world began, an emissary sent by the royal castle suddenly appears with news that the royal selection has been postponed, but offers no reason as to why.
