How to Evolve Lickitung in Pokemon Sword & Shield

Before we get into how to actually evolve Lickitung into Lickilicky, you should probably catch yourself a Lickitung first, which is very easy to do in the Isle of Armor expansion pass for Sword and Shield.

If you’re standing in front of the Dojo on the Isle of Armor, facing away from it, take the path towards the right that will lead you into the Soothing Wetlands area. Walk (or bike) around the area, especially in the tall grass, until you find a wild Lickitung. Once you catch it, you need to make sure that it knows the move Rollout.

Making sure that Lickitung learns the move Rollout is the only way to evolve it into a Lickilicky. If it doesn’t know this move from the get-go, and you passed the point where you can when you catch it, you can always head on over to any Pokemon Center and then speak to the Move Reminder at the left-side counter.

Once you teach it Rollout, simply put your Lickitung into your party and let it gain one level –it’s that simple. You will then find yourself a freshly evolved Lickilicky in your Poke-party, and if it’s a decent level, it should definitely help you out on your quest through the Isle of Armor.
