The Last of Us 2 is full of collectibles. There are notes, coins, cards, and more to find, but some are more exciting than others. The Strange Artifact is a unique collectible in the game and finding it grants you with the Relic of the Sages trophy. So that you can unlock it, here’s everything you need to know about how to get the Strange Artifact in Last of Us 2.

In an attempt to avoid any mild story spoilers, we’ll be vague about what’s happened around when you’ll find the Strange Artifact. All you’ll need to know is that you’ll be early on in the Hostile Territory chapter.

How to Get Strange Artifact (Relic of the Sages Trophy) in Last of Us 2

You’ll head to Chinatown and will be making your way through some shops. You’ll come across the Ruby Dragon, will have to climb up to the top floor and crawl through a gap.

Inside, there’ll be two Clickers, so take them out in whichever way want and get onto the balcony. You then need to jump across the gap to the building opposite. Inside, you’ll find a note that gives you the code for a safe in one the stores on the other side and a hole in the floor in the next room.

Before you jump down through the hole in the floor to get to the lower level, you’ll need to have a look at a table that’s pushed up into a corner on the side of the room that’s by the street. On top of it, you’ll find something you can pick up, which will be the Strange Artifact.

The Relic of the Sages bronze trophy will then pop and you’ll be free to carry on your adventure through Seattle.
