Unfortunately, cutting right to the chase, you cannot simply buy it in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Instead, players have two options.

How to Get Sandy Beach Flooring in Animal Crossing New Horizons

The first is to simply get lucky enough that one of the villagers on your island just happens to give you it when you’re talking to them. Your villagers will often give presents if you’re talking with them every day. It’ll be completely random what they give you, but there is a chance of getting the sandy beach flooring this way.

The second is to craft it using the DIY Recipe. Again, you’ll have to get a little lucky in that you’ll need the DIY Recipe to wash up on your beach, fall from a floating balloon present, or given to you by another player or villager. Once you do, you’ll be able to craft the sandy beach flooring at any workbench.

To craft sandy beach flooring in Animal Crossing New Horizons, you’ll need the following items:

  • Sea Snail x1
  • Venus Comb x1
  • Sand Dollar x1
  • Coral x1
  • Giant Clam x1
  • Cowrie x1

As long as you’ve got the above items, simply make your way to any workbench and select the Sandy Beach Flooring DIY Recipe. Confirm you want to craft it and voila, it’ll be added to your inventory.
