Catching a Mosquito in Animal Crossing New Horizons

Now that it’s June, the Mosquito can be caught in the Northern Hemisphere for Animal Crossing players but it will only be available until September. The Mosquito can also only be caught between the hours of 5 PM and 4 AM, making it mostly a night-time critter.

Luckily, there’s no trick to finding one. You should be able to simply catch one with a bug net all around the island –there are no specific spawning locations.

Just equip your bug net and then once you see a Mosquito in the distance, ready your net by holding down the A button and then letting it go once the Mosquito is in front of your character.

Mosquito Selling Price in Animal Crossing New Horizons

Once that Mosquito is caught in your net and stuffed into your pockets (gross), you might want to donate it to the Museum or just give it to one of your neighbors as a gift. I say this because the selling price for Mosquito’s is only 130 Bells, which is just pennies in the Animal Crossing world.
