Reshiram just made its way into Pokemon GO this week and we’re already looking to Zekrom’s debut this June. We’re still a couple of weeks away from that though and there are plenty of other events to keep you busy up until then.
We already know about the Throwback Challenge Champion and Celebration special research tasks coming up. But there’s much more than that in store for Pokemon GO trainers.
First, let’s take a look at the upcoming spotlight hours that will take place every Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. The one exception is June 2, which will not have any featured Pokemon or bonuses.
Date | Featured Pokemon | Featured Bonus |
June 9 | Patrat | Double Evolution XP |
June 16 | Numel | Double Catch Stardust |
June 23 | Clefairy* | Double Catch XP |
June 30 | Kricketot | Double Catch Candy |

Another weekly Pokemon GO event that you’ll get to enjoy this June is the Zekrom raid hour. On two Wednesdays in June (17, 24) and on July 1, there will be an increased number of Zekroms appearing in raids from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
Finally, the Bug Out and solstice-themed events will be making a comeback this June. The solstice-themed event in the past has featured the Psychic/Rock Pokemon Solrock and Lunatone. The event takes place from June 19 at 8 a.m. to June 24 at 10 p.m. local time.
And as you could likely guess, the Bug Out event will feature tons of Bug-type Pokemon. This time the Pokemon GO Bug Out event takes place from June 26 at 8 a.m. and ends on July 1 at 10 p.m. local time. More details on both events will come in later announcements, so stay tuned to Twinfinite.
