It was announced earlier this afternoon by Niantic that the highly-anticipated Tao Trio of Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem will be coming to Pokemon GO next week. This means we’ll get our first shots at these Legendary Dragons in five-star raids.
They’re all extremely powerful Dragon-type Pokemon in their original games. But that just scratches the surface of why these Pokemon are so exciting. Each one has a typing that doesn’t exist in Pokemon GO yet. And that will likely make some waves in PvP battle modes.
The Dragon/Fire-type Reshiram is going to be the first of the Tao Trio that will release in five-star raids. You can get your hands on this Legendary Pokemon on May 26 at 3 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Stay tuned to Twinfinite and keep an eye out for our upcoming raid guide on Reshiram next week.
Also starting next week is the first of three Reshiram raid hours. It will function in essentially the same manner as other raid hours where Reshiram raids will appear more often in gyms for 60 minutes.
The three Reshiram raid hours will take place on May 27, June 3, and June 10. Each one will run from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. If you would like to read the official release, then check out the Pokemon GO website.
