Welcome to 2020 everyone, where E3 doesn’t exist and everyone is trying to get a slice of that delicious game reveal pie. Microsoft, Ubisoft, EA, and more have all announced their own events. With new Summer gaming events announced almost every day, it can be a pain to keep track of it all.
That’s why we’ve assembled a comprehensive list of all the summer gaming events that you can check out over the next handful of months. Here’s a list of all the events we know of so far. You can find more details about each event below the list.

Summer Game Fest
Summer Game Fest is the biggest event of the Summer and is probably the closest we’ll get to something resembling E3 this year. This event, funded by Geoff Keighley, is a four month-long event featuring reveals, demos, and much more. Some of the biggest publishers are involved, but we’ll get to them later.

Sunrise #1
The first first event of SGF featured the reveal of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2. You can check out all the details here.
SGF Special Event
This SGF Special Event that went live on May 13 focused on the reveal of Unreal Engine 5 running on a PS5. It also featured an interview with Epic Games Execs Tim Sweeny, Kim Libreri, and Nick Penwarden. You can find our coverage of the Unreal Engine 5 reveal here.
Developer Showcase: June
Developer Showcase: June will take a look at a number of new projects from indie devs all the way up to larger studios. This summer gaming event will take place on June 22 at 11 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time
Tennocon 2020
Tennocon 2020 will be taking place digitally on July 11. This event will have news on updates coming to Wareframe directly from developer Digital Extremes.
Gamescom: Open Night Live
The final event of the Summer Game Fest will be an all-digital version of Keighley’s yearly show, Gamescom: Open Night live. It will feature developers and publishers from all around the gaming industry.
We don’t currently know what exactly will be shown. However, it’s hard to imagine a world where they don’t try to close out SGF with a bang. You can stream this event on August 27.
Xbox 20/20
Microsoft is planning on having monthly Inside Xbox streams that reveal gameplay and new titles. They’ll also break news about Project xCloud, Game Pass and of course, Xbox Series X.

Inside Xbox May 2020
The first event focused on Series X gameplay trailers from third-party developers. You can find our coverage of Inside Xbox May 2020 right here.
Inside Xbox June and July 2020
As of right now, we’re not sure what the June event will focus on. But Microsoft has confirmed that their July event will be all about first-party developer gameplay trailers.
There are no set dates for upcoming events.
Ubisoft Forward
Ubisoft Forward will essentially be their E3 presentation in a digital format. It will feature, “…exclusive game news, exciting reveals, and much more.” I wouldn’t be surprised if the much more is their yearly Just Dance reveal.
You can catch the Ubisoft Forward digital event on July 12 at 3 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.
EA Play Live
EA Play Live is going to be a streamed digital event that will focus on EA’s upcoming titles. We already know there will be a few world premiers at this Summer gaming event as well thanks to the announcement on Twitter.
You’ll be able to watch EA Play Live on June 18 starting at 7 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

The IGN Summer of Gaming will feature dozens of developers and publishers. Some of the notables include EA, CD Projekt Red, Blizzard, and Ubisoft. The event will have pre- and post-shows as well as reveals and interviews.
Gamespot Play For All
Much like IGN Summer of Gaming, Gamespot Play For All will feature reveals from an extensive list of developers and publishers as well as interviews with them. The bigger names include Bethesda, EA, CD Projekt Red, and Sega.
This event will also raise money for Direct Relief, a humanitarian aid organization that’s currently focusing on COVID-19. A donation page has been opened to coincide with the Play For All event.
We don’t currently know any specifics when it comes to dates. All we know right now is that Play For All will take place over the course of multiple weeks. We will update this section as soon as concrete dates are announced.
Guerilla Collective
We finally have an event for indie publishers and studios. The Guerilla Collective 2020 event will feature some of the biggest names in indie gaming like Humble Bundle, Larian Studios, and Paradox Interactive.
We know that this Summer gaming event will run from June 6 to June 8 and we currently only have an outline for the first day of festivities.

Guerilla Collective Live
This is essentially the stream that will kick off the whole event. We don’t currently know the specifics of what will be included in this event. It’ll be hosted by Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller and will be streamed on Guerilla Collective’s Twitch channel.

The PC Gaming Show
The PC Gaming Show is switching homes in 2020 from E3 to Guerilla Collective. You can expect plenty of PC game and hardware news to come out of this event.
The 2020 edition of The PC Gaming Show will be streamed from the PC Gamer Twitch account on June 13 at 3 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.
The Future Games Show
The final event of Guerilla Collective day one is The Future Games Show. This stream will feature a slew of reveals and developer interviews. No lineup has been officially announced for this Summer gaming event.
The first day of Guerilla Collective will conclude with The Future Games Show on June 13 at 5:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. You can watch the stream on Gamesradar’s Twitch account.
Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire
Who needs a whole slate of different game announcements when you can just have more Cyberpunk 2077 news? The Night City Wire event is going to deliver exactly that.
We likely won’t know any specifics of what will be shown until the event goes live. But we will update this section if any details are released. You can get all the latest updates about Cyberpunk 2077 on June 25.
The Steam Game Festival Summer Edition
If you’re a big fan of the Steam Summer Sale, then you’ll want to check out the Steam Game Festival Summer Edition. This event will feature upcoming releases, demos, and opportunities to connect with game developers.
You can look forward to the event starting on June 9 and running until June 14. The specifics about the event are not yet clear, but we will update this section as soon as any details emerge.
PlayStation State of Play: Ghost of Tsushima
This event, that focused on the PS4 game Ghost of Tsushima, featured gameplay, customization, presentation options, and more. You can check out our coverage of State of Play: Ghost of Tsushima here. The full livestream of the event can be found above.
New Game+ Expo
New Game+ Expo will feature reveals from 14 different developers and publishers from around the world. Big names like Sega, Koei Tecmo, and NIS will all take part in this event. You can catch the Twitch stream of New Game+ Expo on June 23 starting at 11 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time.
PlayStation State of Play: The Last of Us Part II
PlayStation State of Play: The Last of Us Part II focused on combat, enemies, setting, and much more. You can check out our coverage of the event right here. The official footage for this summer gaming event can be found in the video above.
PS5: The Future of Gaming
PS5: The Future of Gaming will focus on Sony’s next-generation console. We expect to see the console, as well as some games, showed off in the stream. You can check out this summer gaming event on June 11 at 4 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time when it goes live on Twitch and YouTube.
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Update
The World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Update will focus on new content coming in the Shadowlands expansion for World of Warcraft. You can check out this summer gaming event June 9 at 9 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Twitch and YouTube.
Marvel’s Avengers: War Table
Marvel’s Avengers: War Table will focus on new gameplay and other details for the upcoming Avengers title. You can catch this summer gaming event when it goes live on June 24 (time TBA).
Bitsummit Gaiden
Bitsummit Gaiden is a summer gaming event that will focus on Japanese indie developers. You can check out this event when it goes live on June 27 (time TBA).
