To be more specific, we take a look at the character design of characters created by three famous artists.

The first is Shigenori Soejima, who you’ll likely know as the character designer of Persona 5 on top of a few earlier chapters of the series. In Sakura Wars, he designed Hakushu Murasame.

Then we get to see the Floral Revue’s very own fangirl and Itsuki Saijo and the local confectionery store clerk Hiromi Hongo. They were designed by Noizi Ito, whom you may know for her work on the Shakugan no Shana and Haruhi Suzumiya novel series.

Last, but not least, we get to see “Peanut” (which seems to be a weird adaptation of the name of the mascot originally named Gekizou-Kun), designed by Pokémon Art Director and Character Designer Ken Sugimori.

Sakura Wars is already available in Japan and it will launch in the west on April 28, 2020, exclusively for PS4.
