How to Open Storage Boxes in Resident Evil 3

Just before you enter the police station you’ll have seen a very cool easter egg that adds a bit to Resident Evil lore: we discover that Barry does indeed turn into a zombie after being bitten and it’s he who bites Marvin, dooming the officer to become a zombie himself.

To open the storage box cases that you’ll find dotted around the police station, you’ll need a S.T.A.R.S key card, and guess who has one? That’s right, it’s Barry. If you didn’t take the time to check his corpse then you won’t have got the card. If so, head back out of the police station and do so.

With your new S.T.A.R.S key card you’ll be able to open the various Storage Boxes. One of these, located in the West Office 1F, is especially worth opening as it contains the Assault Rifle scope. This makes aiming the weapon much easier, which is a good thing as it has some major recoil.

That is everything there is to know about how to open storage boxes in Resident Evil 3.
