According to the event’s donation tracker, the Corona Relief Done Quick event raised $402,578.60 with the highest single donation at $10,000. All proceeds will go to Direct Relief, a humanitarian aid organization “with a mission to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies.”

The event began last Friday at noon with a speedrun of Donkey Kong Country for the Super Nintendo and ended on Sunday night with Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix.

Unlike previous events that were held in front of a large crowd, the Corona Relief Done Quick was done online only with streamers running the games from their respective homes.

Summer Games Done Quick 2020, the next charity speedrunning event, is scheduled for Aug. 16-23, 2020 in Bloomington, MN. It was originally scheduled for late June, but was postponed last month due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The group’s previous event, Awesome Games Done Quick 2020, raised over $3 million for the Prevent Cancer Foundation last January.
