Just in case you aren’t aware of what the event actually is, let’s refresh our memory. During May Day, players will be whisked off a unique deserted island, which, from the look of the recent trailer, features a hedge maze and possibly the return of a series favorite character called Rover.

How to Get a May Day Ticket in Animal Crossing New Horizons

To get a May Day ticket you won’t have to do anything special. Tom Nook will give you a buzz and tell you everything you need to know. Just so long as you boot up a game of New Horizons between May 1 – 7, 2020, you’ll be given your one-off ticket, which is redeemed at the Airport after speaking with Orville of Dodo Airlines. You cannot get a May Day Ticket before the event starts.

As for what sort of rewards you’ll get on the island, we don’t have any firm details on that yet. From the look of the trailer, and as you’ll see below, it’ll definitely feature a bunch of rocks for you to harvest.

So there you have it; there’s nothing specific that needs to be done as look forward to the May Day event starting. One thing we’d probably suggest is to make sure you have some new tools in preparation for harvesting materials on whatever island you visit.

Beyond that, though, that should be everything you need to know about how to get a May Day Ticket in Animal Crossing New Horizons. For more useful tips and guides on the game, check out Twinfinite’s extensive guide wiki.
