Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition’s Collector’s Edition for Europe Has a Lot More Goodies Than the US One

During an unexpected Nintendo Direct Mini presentation today, the house of Mario unveiled tons of little surprises that are in store for Nintendo’s 2020. Part of the presentation featured a new trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles: Definition Edition for the Nintendo Switch. A release date was revealed as well as two different collector’s editions: one for the US and another (much better) one for Europe.

The collector’s set for the US is called the Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition Works Set and it includes a copy of the game alongside a 250-page art book with a slip-case and that’s it. It’s available for pre-order now at select retailers such as Best Buy for $79.99. You can see an image of it down below:

And while Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition – Collector’s Set for Europe isn’t available for pre-order just yet, it comes packed in with a bunch of other goodies that are way more tempting than the US edition.

The collector’s set comes packed in with a physical copy of the game, a stunning steelbook case, a sound selection vinyl that matches the Monado’s design, a digital download of that same music, a poster featuring the same art, and the same 250-page artbook from the other collection.

As we mentioned before, the European set doesn’t seem to be available for pre-order anywhere at the time of writing so we don’t know how much it will cost just yet, but as for right now, this seems to be the best choice for Xenoblade fans.

And remember, the Nintendo Switch is region-free, so you could technically purchase this copy and play it on your US Switch without any issues.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, along with these two collector’s editions, will launch for the Nintendo Switch on May 29.
