Following the success of the Resident Evil 2 Remake last year, Capcom is at it again in 2020. Resident Evil 3 is being remade and is due to release next month. Ahead of this, Capcom has released a demo on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Here’s how to download the Resident Evil 3 demo on all platforms.

Downloading Resident Evil 3 Demo on PS4 and Xbox One

The process to download the demo on PS4 and Xbox One is more or less the same.

First, go to the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store depending on the console you’re on.

Use the ‘Search’ option and begin to type in ‘Resident Evil 3.’ You should now see ‘Resident Evil 3: Raccoon City Demo’ appear as an option. Select this and you’ll be taken to its ‘Store Page.’

You’ll now have the option to ‘Download Demo.’ Select this and let your console download the Resident Evil 3 Demo. This comes in at about 8 GB, so it shouldn’t take too long or take up too much room on your hard drive.

Once it’s done, simply select the demo from your console’s home screen and you’ll be all set.

For PC owners, it’s very much the same process, but you’re going to have to open up and login to Steam.

You should see the Resident Evil 3 Demo advertised on the Steam Store’s front page. If you don’t, just type in ‘Resident Evil 3’ into the search bar in the top right-hand corner.

Once it appears, select the option to download the demo for free. Wait for the download to be finished and you’re now all ready to jump in and check out Raccoon City for yourself.
