Today Bandai Namco announced the release date for the PlayStation 4 version of Gundam Extreme VS. Maxiboost ON, alongside a beta phase.

Today Bandai Namco announced the release date for the PS4 version of Gundam Extreme VS. Maxiboost ON.

We learn that the game will release worldwide exclusively for PlayStation 4 on July 30, day-and-date with the Japanese launch which was announced earlier today.

We also get word about a closed beta which will be hosted between April 25 and April 27. Registration is already open and will be available until April 10 at this link.

If you’re selected, you’ll get an email by April 17, with a pre-download that will be made available on the same date.

The press release also mentions that the Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex from the second season of Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans will be awarded as an early purchase bonus for those who buy the game close to launch.

MAXIBOOST ON features 183 playable units from 36 different GUNDAM iterations, each with unique abilities designed to match any fan’s personal playstyle.

Players can choose between three different EX Burst Systems—Fighting Burst, Extend Burst and Shooting Burst—to coordinate with allies and lay waste to all that stand—or fly—in their way.”
