Where are Sentry Cameras and Sentry Turrets in Fortnite? Fear not, this guide will talk you through all Fortnite Sentry Camera and Turret locations.
Fortnite players, prepare for the grind once again. The TNTina’s Trial week 3 challenges have just gone live, meaning there are plenty of opportunities to level up that Battle Pass. One challenge requires players to ‘Destroy Sentry Cameras and Sentry Turrets.’ If you’re unsure what these are, we’re here to help clear up the confusion.
Sentry Camera and Sentry Turret Map Locations
First off, let’s run you through where you can find Sentry Cameras and Sentry Turrets in Fortnite. In short, you’ll find these scattered throughout the five new named locations. These are:
- The Yacht
- The Grotto
- The Agency
- The Rig
- The Shark
Landing here, you’ll then want to look out for machines with little lights on them. The Sentry Cameras are often placed high up on walls around doorways. A Sentry Turret is often placed nearby so it can pepper any intruders the camera spots with a barrage of fire.
It’s worth pointing out that a Sentry Camera will raise an alarm if you’re spotted not wearing a disguise. If a Sentry Turret sees you without a disguise, it’ll start firing at you, so be sure to build and try and stay out of their line of sight.
Alternatively, heading to a phone box and getting a Henchman disguise will also work a treat.
Tips to Destroy Sentry Cameras and Sentry Turrets Fast
There are a few ways you can make this challenge a lot easier on yourself. The first is to use Squad Assist and get our friends to help you out shooting them down.
Another is to try and use or find explosive weapons or projectiles. These will deal significantly more damage to Sentry Cameras and Sentry Turrets.
Finally, the week 3 challenge doesn’t specifically state you have to destroy a mixture of both, just five of either. As such, make Sentry Cameras your priority. They’ve got far, far fewer hit points meaning you won’t have to waste a ton of time and ammo constantly gunning one down.
