Getting Back to the Fortress of Doom in Doom Eternal

As it stands, you can only return to the Fortress of Doom in Doom Eternal under some specific circumstances.

During key points in the campaign, you’ll be able to return to the Fortress of Doom in-between missions to obtain collectibles, view secrets you’ve unlocked and so forth. This occurs automatically after you’ve cleared certain missions, so all you need to do for this method is continue to play through the game as you normally would.

Following the end of the campaign though, or when you’re replaying missions, you can return to the Doom Fortress at any time. This is done by hitting the Options button on PlayStation 4 or the Menu button on Xbox One to bring up the pause menu, and then scrolling down to the “Return to Campaign” option and selecting it.

This will bring you back to the Fortress of Doom, where you’ll be able to go about your business until you use the terminal in the command center to select a mission or exit back out to the game’s main menu.

Again though, this option is only available to you if you’ve cleared the campaign or if you’re replaying missions. The option won’t be available to you while you’re playing through any part of the campaign which you haven’t cleared at least once before.

Hopefully this cleared up how to return to the Fortress of Doom in Doom Eternal. For more on the game, check out our guide wiki. It has plenty of tips, tricks and info on a variety of topics including how to upgrade the Praetor Suit and how to get Sentinel Batteries.
