Destiny 2 season 10, AKA Season of the Worthy, has arrived and players are diving into the newest suite of Destiny 2 content. A tradition or… ritual if you will, is for players to see what the new Ritual Weapons – previously Pinnacle – are from each of the three main activity vendors: Zavala, Lord Shaxx and The Drifter. Allow us to explain Season of the Worthy Ritual Weapons and what the apparent deal with them is this season of Destiny 2.
Season of the Worthy Ritual Weapons in Destiny 2
So there’s a good chance that if you’re here, you’re like me and lots of other Destiny 2 players who logged in, watched the neat cutscenes, waltzed on over the Tower and then visited Commander Zavala hoping to pick up not only the new missions, but the new Season of the Worthy Ritual Weapon quest too. Well, about that.
There are no new Season of the Worthy Ritual Weapons this time around. And before you ask, no there aren’t Pinnacle Weapons either. The entire concept of having seasonal special weapons to grind for has been ninja-scrapped by Bungie this season for reasons we do not yet know.
It is not a requirement for Season of the Worthy’s seal, Almighty, nor does it appear to be hidden within the multi-part shader quest.
This is likely to be a hot topic among fans of Destiny 2 as it was one of the most popular features each season, even after it as toned down a bit with the change to Ritual from Pinnacle.
We’ll update this post if Bungie makes any sort of comment on the issue. There’s a good chance at the very least that a Bungie community manager, such as dmg04, may eventually fill in the blanks as to what happened with Season of the Worthy’s Ritual Weapons.
That’s all you need to know about where Destiny 2’s Season of the Worthy Ritual Weapons are. Unfortunately they are non-existent but hopefully the rest of season 10’s content, such as Trials of Osiris, is enough to keep you entertained over the next three months or so.
