Destiny 2’s new Season of the Worthy update is now here and fans of the multiplayer shooter now have access to some exciting new weapons and pieces of armor. If you’ve stumbled onto this guide, you might be wondering exactly what all the Season of the Worthy Exotics are and how to get them. Here’s everything you need to know.
All Season of the Worthy Exotics and How to Get Them in Destiny 2
Season of the Worthy Exotic Armor
Raiju’s Harness
The first new piece of exotic armor that you need to know about is Raiju’s Harness, an item specifically meant for Hunters in Destiny 2. In order to actually get Raiju’s Harness, it’s obtained via a random exotic world drop, like the other armor on this list.
We recommend farming exotic engrams through high-power level Nightfall: The Ordeal activities or by opening year 3 raid chests or you can just wait until you get free exotic engrams from Season of the Worthy’s season pass.
As for its exotic perk, Mobius Conduit, it’s only useful for middle tree Arcstriders. It essentially decreases the amount that is drained from the super bar while guarding, allowing you to guard much longer than usual. You can also cancel your super at any time by pressing the super activation button again and regain a part of your super energy, similar to middle tree Stormcaller.
Felwinter’s Helm
Felwinter’s Helm gives Warlocks a way to debuff and weakens groups of enemies but before you start going ham, you should know that this exotic armor is also obtained through a random exotic world drop. Just like we mentioned above with Raiju’s Harness, you can try your hand at farming exotic engrams through high-power level Nightfall: The Ordeal activities or by opening year 3 raid chests.
Its exotic perk is called Warlord’s End and is a quite unique perk for Warlocks. Any charged melee kill or finisher kill will shoot out a circular burst of energy around the killed enemy that will weaken and stun anyone else around them. Since this counts as a debuff in Destiny 2, you’ll also do increased damage to anyone that’s affected by Warlord’s End.
Citan’s Ramparts
The new Titan exotic gauntlets, Citan’s Ramparts, are probably the strongest of the three new exotics and it can be obtained just like the other two via random exotic world drops. You can also farm exotic engrams through high-power level Nightfall: The Ordeal activities or by opening year 3 raid chests, just in case you needed to hear that again.
The Assault Barricade exotic perk for Citan’s Ramparts is pretty useful as it changes the way that Tower Barricades work by letting you and your allies shoot through the barricade at the cost of reduced barricade health and duration.
Exotic Weapons
Tommy’s Matchbook
Tommy’s Matchbook is an exotic energy auto rifle in Season of the Worthy and right now there are two different ways to obtain this useful weapon depending on whether or not you gave Bungie money.
The first way only works if you purchased the season pass. If so, you can simply claim the weapon as a free gift at Rank 1. The other method to get Tommy’s Matchbook is by getting to Rank 35 in the free track, which shouldn’t take too long to do if you just play Destiny 2 like normal and complete bounties.
This weapon’s perk is a double-edged sword though as it will burn the user if the weapon overheats, causing damage to you. You can also reduce the overheating damage if you stop aiming down sights.
Fourth Horsemen
The Fourth Horsemen is not new to Destiny as it proved to be a very powerful weapon in the first game. The exotic shotgun is back for Season of the Worthy but not much is known about it just yet since players have not found out how to get it in-game.
Once we find out more information about the Fourth Horsemen and when it releases into Destiny 2, we will make sure to update this article.
