Sony PS Plus subscribers have a real treat in store next month which we’ve only been privy to thanks to a slip-up on the part of PlayStation Access. Earlier today the YouTube channel accidentally released a trailer spotlighting April’s freebies well in advance of the typical end of the month date. The games? Naughty Dog’s critically acclaimed Uncharted 4: A Theif’s End, and the esteemed latest entry in the Dirt Rally series.
The YouTube video has since been pulled from the channel after PlayStation Access presumably realized the error, but Twinfinite can confirm that it saw the clip and it was very much official. It was also spotted by Reddit users.
For those that haven’t played Naughty Dog’s beloved action-adventure game, Uncharted 4 is the final chapter in the Nathan Drake saga. It’s an epic conclusion that features some of the best graphics, voice-acting, and overall production values ever seen in video games. It should also serve as a nice warm-up for Naughty Dog’s upcoming The Last of Us Part II, which is due to launch later this year.
As for Dirt Rally 2.0, Twinfinite reviewed the game back and was hugely impressed, commenting that “hurtling along the beautiful rally stages or fighting your rivals in a Rally Cross final is exhilarating” before scoring the game 4/5.
Incidentally, Dirt Rally 2.0 is due to receive a Colin McRae themed update today called Flat Pack that adds a wealth of new content to the base package.
April will mark the second month in a row Sony has offered a AAA game free; last month Shadow of the Colossus Remake was included.
