There are a ton of fish, bugs, and fossils to find on your deserted island in Animal Crossing New Horizons and some of them can only be found during certain times, specific months, and in particular locations. If you’re trying to find some of the fish that only pop up near the pier, here’s everything you need to know about where to find the pier and what you can catch there in Animal Crossing New Horizons.
Where to Find Pier in Animal Crossing New Horizons
The pier in Animal Crossing New Horizons is that long piece of wood that you can walk on that leads to the ocean. The pier will be in a different location for every player but you’ll be able to spot it if you take a look at your map.
The pier on my island of Chyrule is located in the southwestern corner, as you can see in the image below. Just walk over to it and if you cannot access it for whatever reason, you’re probably going to have to cross some rivers with a vaulting pole.
Just take out your fishing rod while you’re standing on the pier and you’ll be able to catch some fish that are exclusive to the pier area. And if you don’t see any fish in the water, you can always craft some fish bait at a workbench by using a Manila Clam.
What Can You Catch?
These are the pier exclusive fish that we know about so far but once we catch some more, we will be sure to update this guide with everything that we catch. You can see the fish type, the selling price, and when you can catch it at the pier in the chart down below:
Fish Type | Selling Price | Time | Months |
Giant Trevally | 4,500 | Any Time | May – October |
Tuna | 7,000 | Any Time | November – April |
Blue Marlin | 10,000 | Any Time | Every Month but May, June, and October |
