Everything New on Fortnite’s Map in Chapter 2 Season 2

First of all, here’s a look at the full Chapter 2 Season 2 map, via @HYPEX, and it looks pretty similar to the map of last season. However, there are landmarks that stand out, and we’ll get to those afterwards.

Here are the places you should look out for as you explore the new map. We’ll update the locations with official names once we know them.

Some of them look pretty cool, such as the massive oil rig you’ll see below. They’ll undoubtedly be filled with chests to open and, at the start of the season, other players to take on.

  • Oil Rig – B7
  • Headquarters – Central Island – E4
  • Underground Base
  • Yacht – H1 – Out to sea at the top of the map. Many new locations on the Fortnite Season 2 map seem to be connected to water ways or the sea.
  • Shark Cave – Seems to have a house connected to it, so the shark’s mouth may be an entrance to it.

We’ll continue to update this piece with new locations once the downtime is over.

That’s everything you need to know about everything new on Fortnite’s map in Chapter 2 Season 2. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our wiki guide once it is live or search for Twinfinite.
