The most important thing you’ll want to understand is that storage works in a grid pattern. Each item is assigned a specific amount of squares to take up.

Also, some items take up more grids than others. A helmet is obviously going to require much less space than body armor would.

Now that you know the basics of the inventory, turning all of your items is going to be the next thing you’ll want to master.

The first thing you need to do is select the item that you wish to rotate. Once selected, be sure there is plenty of space to actually move it around.

If you don’t have enough space in your inventory to actually change the orientation of the item you wish to turn, try moving items to different grids to make room.

After you’ve figured out the area in your pack you’d like to rotate your item, press R and the orientation will change. It will take a bit of time to master, but you’ll find that it’ll be well worth the extra space when you get the hang of it.
