Yakuza: Like a Dragon releases today in Japan (it’s already January 16 there) and Sega had news and gameplay to celebrate the launch of the new mainline Yakuza game.
First of all, we get a ton of gameplay showcased during a celebratory livestream, and you can check that out at the bottom of the post.
On top of that, we get the announcement that the game will follow a tradition common to many of its predecessors, receiving weekly free DLC until the end of February.
The first DLC launches today and it includes a Cleaner outfit costume for Ichiban, an accessory, a bunch of crafting materials, and some consumables.

We also get the schedule for the following free DLC packs, even if the content of each hasn’t been revealed.
They’ll come on January 23, January 30, February 6, February 13, February 20, and February 27.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon will launch in Japan on January 16, 2020, exclusively for PS4. It’ll also come west later next year, and a demo is already available on the Japanese PSN.
