Changing Clothes in Tokyo Mirage Sessions Encore

Before you’re able to change the outfits of any of your characters, you’ll need to at least reach Chapter 1 in the game’s story. After this point, you’ll then be able to access the ‘Wardrobe’ option, which opens up all of your customization options for your party.

To change clothes, press Y to open the menu and select ‘Wardrobe.’ Next, choose the character you want to change the outfit of and select ‘Clothes’ when you’re given the option.

You can now simply select any of the clothing options you want to that you’ve unlocked so far on your adventure.

  1. Reach Chapter 1.

    You won’t unlock the option to change clothes until you do.

  2. Press Y to open the menu.

  3. Select ‘Wardrobe.’

    You’ll then need to select the character whose clothes you want to change. Select them and press A.

  4. Choose the ‘Clothes’ option

    This will now bring up all unlocked clothing options for that character.

  5. Highlight the clothing you want to change the character into.

    Press A to confirm your choice and back out of the menus to see the changes made.

How to Unlock More Outfits

The good news is that getting yourself some shiny new garments for your characters is incredibly straightforward. All you need to do is keep playing through the game’s story.

You’ll unlock new clothing and options at random intervals as you progress through Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore. These can then immediately be accessed via the ‘Wardrobe’ option from the menu.

More outfits can be unlocked by completing character side stories, opening treasure chests in the EX dungeons, and by purchasing them from the Anzu costume shop.
