A good party to bring into this fight would be Itsuki, Touma, and Tsubasa. Just like the previous boss fights, you can expect there to be mobs supporting the boss. However, Draug has the Bodyguard move, which allows him to actively protect the mobs.

Because of this, you’ll have a lot more opportunities to attack Draug, but you also need to be mindful of the mobs themselves. It’s recommended that you take out the Mages and Clerics, as they have the ability to heal up the entire enemy group.

They’re all weak to sword and fire attacks, which means that both Itsuki and Touma can take care of them easily, while Tsubasa just focuses on supporting the party and following up with Session attacks.

Draug himself is weak to sword attacks, which means that Itsuki will be your main damage dealer for this fight. It’s also worth noting that Draug can cast -karn spells, which will create either a physical or magical repelling barrier around the enemy group, so be aware of that.

If you have a character that can block a specific type of magical damage, it might be wise to have that character cast that element to remove the barrier immediately.

Lastly, Draug uses axe attacks and can also use Mad Dash to knock out a character and force out another one from the secondary lineup. Just keep taking out the Mages and Clerics, and have Itsuki focus on exploiting Draug’s weakness, though, and you’ll be done in no time.

To recap, here’s how to beat Draug in Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE Encore:

  1. Take out the Mages and Clerics.

They’re susceptible to sword and fire attacks.

  2. Have Itsuki focus on attacking the boss with sword skills.

  3. Be wary of Mad Dash, which will force swap a character for someone else from your secondary lineup.
