Temtem, the new PC MMO that is like Pokemon in more than a couple of ways, is out now in early access. Just as many players do when playing Pokemon games, a lot of Temtem players will want to personalise their experience. So that you can give you team of creatures the personal touch, here’s everything you need to know about how to rename Temtem.
Any of the creatures that you’ll find out in the open world can be added to your squad and, while they all have default names, you’re able to change them so that you can separate them from the crowd or remember when you caught them.
How to Rename Temtem
Renaming them is pretty simple, but the bad news is that you’re quite limited when it comes to the options of how you do it.
The only time you can rename Temtem is when you catch them. The moment you confirm them and continue on your adventure, you won’t be able to remane that specific creature. If you want to have a Temtem with a specific name, you’ll have to catch another one of them.
To rename them, look for the naming option on the right side of the screen once you’ve caught them, just underneath their stats. Click on that, type in the name you want, and continue, The name will then be kept forever, even when the Temtem evolves.
If any other way of naming creatures comes to the game, we’ll be sure to update you here.
In short, to rename Temtem
- Catch a Temtem.
You cannot rename them at any other time.
- Immediately after, select the naming option below their stats and type in what you’d like.
