While Proof of Times Past has a similar name and reward to that of another incentive in the new DLC, Proof of Promises, the method of obtaining each of them is entirely different. Instead of focusing on collectibles like the latter, the former centers around completing the game on a different difficulty.

How to Get Proof of Times Past

To be exact, you’ll need to complete the Kingdom Hearts 3 ReMind DLC on Critical Mode in order to receive the Proof of Times Past.

Critical Mode is the hardest challenge in the game and will test even the most veteran players due to its difficulty.

The question now begs of what exactly you’ll need to do with your new reward now that you have it?

The Oathkeeper Keyblade

Once you’ve completed the game on Critical Mode difficulty, head over to the Moogle Shop. Turn in the newly acquired Proof of Times Past and you’ll receive the legendary Keyblade known as Oathkeeper.

Fans of the original Kingdom Hearts game will remember this blade, which formed when Sora uses Kairi’s Wayfinder as a Keychain.

How to Get Proof of Promises & What It Does in Kingdom Hearts 3 ReMind DLC:

  1. Beat the game in Critical Mode.

  2. Turn in the Proof of Times Past at the Moogle Shop.

  3. You’ll receive your reward and be able to use and equip it immediately.

That is everything you need to know about how to get Proof of Times Past and what it does in Kingdom Hearts 3 ReMind DLC.
