One thing you want to do once you get the chance to in Kakarot is collect all of the seven Dragon Balls that are strewn across the map. Once you’ve done that, you’ll want to use them to summon Shenron and make a wish to get one of the bonuses he offers.

He can do things like bring characters back from the dead to help you complete side quests or give you a load of Z Orbs to help you unlock new techniques for the rest of your playthrough.

How to Summon Shenron in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot

Once you have the Dragon Balls, open up the menu by pressing Options if you’re on PS4 or Menu if you’re on Xbox One. Then, scroll down to the Dragon Balls option and select it.

From there, you’ll see the list of wishes you can request. Just choose the one you want, making sure you think carefully about it, and then select the Summon Shenron option at the bottom of the screen.

Once your wish has been granted, the Dragon Balls will disperse across the map again and you’ll be able to go looking for them again after 20 minutes.
