The Sword of Lost Hope
This Skyrim mod has been a long time coming. About one year to be exact. Back in December 2018, creator rsmccarthy released a weapon inspired by the Sword of Lost Light from the classic MMO Asheron’s Call.
Now, rsmccarthy has released an upgraded version of this weapon which is called the Sword of Last Hope. You also get a quick quest to upgrade this sword. This new weapon is more powerful and has a much cleaner design compared to the original.
Z Water Walking
Why jump over the whole map when you can just walk on water? With the Z Water Walking mod you’ll be able to run, walk, and jump on the water in Skyrim just like it was any regular slab of solid ground.
You’ll have to use the console command AddItemMenu to add the spellbook to your inventory. Cast this spell and you’ll be able to freely move across the surface of any body of water for two minutes. Whether you’re about to cross a lake or already swimming, this mod will work all the same.
Better Vampiric Powers
If you love vampires and just want to become a supremely powerful one, then this Better Vampiric Powers mod is for you. All powers become lesser and have no cost of cool down. It’s just ridiculous, but it achieves the goal of making you feel overwhelmingly strong.
Even though you get massively better buffs and new skills as a Vampire Lord with this mod, there is a tradeoff. Any exposure to Skyrim’s sunlight will become exceptionally deadly and greatly hinder regeneration.
Aspen Lodge
This beautiful three-story house right outside of Riften can be yours for a mere 82.5 MB. Whether you need a safe place to fast travel to, a spacious kitchen, or 11 beds for your posse of followers, the Aspen Lodge mod has everything you need to live comfortably in Skyrim.
If you want to feel a bit more secluded, then you can also download the Little World Edition of this mod. This add-on drops the house into a new world space just for the Aspen Lodge. The sewer grate entry to the little world is located right outside of the Riverwood gate.
Santa Hat
You can’t have a list of the best December Skyrim mods without a Santa Hat. Sadly that’s all it really is. But, there’s no better way to get back into the holiday spirit than by plopping this red and white cap on your noggin.
All you need to do is just craft one at a forge to get your hands on this piece of headwear. The ability to control Elk, Deer, or other animals would’ve been nice, but the hat looks good and is surprisingly detailed.
Those were the five best Skyrim mods from the last month of 2019. If you want to find more great mods, then just check out our November 2019 list.
