Today Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan and Asia hosted the 2019 ceremony of the PlayStation Awards at the traditional Grand Prince Hotel New Tanakawa venue in Tokyo.
Most PlayStation Awards are prizes based on sales, while the User’s Choice awards are voted by PlayStation users from Asia and Japan.
The ceremony started with a surprise: PlayStation was recognized as the best-selling home console brand of all time with a Guinness World Record.
