Dreamscraper Explores Depression Manifested as Brutal Dungeons; Switch Announcement Trailer

Developer Afterburner Studios has today announced via a new trailer that that upcoming ARPG Roguelite Dreamscaper will come to Nintendo Switch in 2020. The game is said to blend elements from brawlers, top-down shooters, and dungeon crawlers.

Nintendo’s storefront tees up Dreamscaper’s story premise:

Every slumber is a different random dungeon and you must unlock the power of your dreams to see a new day. 

Play as Cassidy, a young woman trapped in a deep depression. Dive into her subconscious to take on the surreal nightmares she wrestles with.

Dreamscaper is an ARPG Roguelite, blending elements from brawlers, top-down shooters, and dungeon crawlers.

Dreamscaper had previously been launched as a Kickstarter project for PC-only, but according to its FAQ, there were always plans for multiple platforms if budget allowed. Funding has since reached that stretch goal and so backers will be able to choose their platform of choice.
