There’s a lot of hype for Netflix’s upcoming The Witcher adaptation, and rightly so — what we’ve seen so far looks very promising, indeed. Apparently, we’re not the only ones who think so, either, because showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich has just announced that even though season one hasn’t yet aired, a second season has already been given the go-ahead by the powers that be.
The writer said in a Tweet earlier today:
I’m so thrilled to announce: Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri will be back for more adventures… in Season Two.
I could not be more proud of what the amazing cast and crew of The Witcher have accomplished, and can’t wait for the world to dig in and enjoy these stories with us. ❤️⚔️🐺 pic.twitter.com/evWoHvUl1e

So there you have it! The producers over at Netflix are obviously so confident that they’re already prepared to get the second season underway.
To celebrate, you can feast your eyes on some new pictures of Yennifer that were released the other day.

Netflix’s The Witcher arrives on the streaming service later this winter, Dec. 20.
