The day has finally come. 18 years later, Shenmue 3 has finally arrived on PS4 and PC. Keeping much of the gameplay eerily similar, Shenmue 3 also sees the return of Ryo Hazuki as they embark on yet another adventure together. In preparation, some players may be wondering what the Shenmue 3 install size is so they can free space for its download ahead of time.
What Shenmue 3’s Download & Install Size Is
Shenmue 3’s install size is 39.559 GB on PS4 on day-one, while the PC install size via the Epic Games Store is 35.7 GB. We’ve been able to verify the PS4 install ourselves, while you can check the link above for a screenshot of the total PC size via Epic Games Store.
Comparatively speaking, Shenmue 3 isn’t all that much of a big game. Considering the likes of Red Dead Redemption 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Elder Scrolls Online all take up close-to or over 100 GB, less than half of that is quite the dinky game.
