Pokemon Sword & Shield are finally out on Nintendo Switch and, while not every creature from the series is included, there are loads of Pokemon to choose from when building your team. One good Dragon type ‘mon is Goodra. So that you can add it to your team of six, here’s everything you need to know about how to evolve Sliggoo into Goodra in Pokemon Sword & Shield.
The first thing you should know is that the Goomy – Sliggoo – Goodra evolution chain is exclusive to Pokemon Shield. The only way for you to get them in Sword is to trade with someone who has caught or evolved it in Shield.
Also, you’re not going to find Goodra out in the wild in Pokemon Shield. You’ll have to evolve a Sliggoo to get one.
How to Evolve Sliggoo Into Goodra in Pokemon Sword & Shield
Once you’ve evolved a Goomy into a Sliggoo, you’ll want to know how to get it to the final form. Thankfully, the process is very straight forward.
Sliggoo will evolve into Goodra once it reaches level 50 and you’re in rainy weather conditions. Once you’ve levelled you Pokemon up enough and begin a battle in the rain, it will evolve once it is over.
If it is not raining, your Sliggoo will just continue to earn XP without evolving, even levelling up further. It’s fine if it does though, it will evolve into Goodra at any level after 50 if you’re in the right conditions.
In short, here’s how to evolve Sliggoo into Goodra in Pokemon Sword & Shield
- Get a Sliggoo in Pokemon Shield.
