Thankfully, turning off your engine in the game is pretty easy. All you need to do is press L1 and square if you’re on PS4, or LB and X if you’re on Xbox One, while you car isn’t moving.

You won’t be able to do it while you’re still moving, so just hold the left trigger until you come to a stop and do it then.
