Today, during the Inside Xbox livestream from X019, Microsoft showcased its upcoming new chapter of the Flight Simulator franchise.
We get to see a fantastic new trailer showing awesome environments, alongside the first look at arliners and jets.
Among them, we see the iconic Boeing 747, the Airbus A320, and the Cessna Citation CJ4.
Interestingly, Microsoft also announced of a few partners that will provide their aircrafts for the game. This is just the first batch, so it’s likely that there will be more.
Boeing, Airbus, CubCrafters, Daher, Diamond Aircraft Industries, ICON Aircraft, Robin Aircraft, and Textron Aviation are on-board with the project.
It’ll be interesting to see how many more will join before the game launches in 2020, but so far it seems that the lineup will include the usual variety. Whatever isn’t there, modders and addons will surely provide.
If you’d like to see more, you can enjoy a video from a few weeks ago showing the work that has been done to reproduce the world in fine detail, on top of the latest beautiful screenshots.
You can also take a look at the original announcement from E3 2019.
