Swimming Underwater in Jedi Fallen Order

Before you can swim underwater, you’ll need to get the aptly-named Underwater Breather. Fortunately, this isn’t something you can miss. You’ll get it naturally as part of the story.

When you have to meet Mari and Tarfful back on Kashyyyk (the second time you go there), you’ll have to meet them at the Origin Lake. Use your newfound abilities to start making your way towards the main objective, and then use the launchpads to propel you into the air and your Force Pull to catch a series of vines to swing over to him.

Once you reach Mari and Tarfful, they’ll let you know you need to advance to the Origin Tree, but to get there you’re going to need to dive and swim underwater to navigate obstacles. At this point, you’ll receive the Underwater Breather in Jedi Fallen Order, granting you the ability to swim underwater.

How to Swim Underwater

To use your Underwater Breather and dive below the surface, simply press and hold X on Xbox One or Square on PS4. This will see Cal dive below the surface. To swim deeper, press X/ Square, while pressing A/ X will see Cal begin swimming to the surface. You can also press B/ Circle to give yourself a boost of speed in the water.

Swimming underwater also now enables you to find chests that can be hidden under the surface, so be sure to dive down on planets you’ve already been to and investigate what lies beneath the surface.

That’s everything you need to know to swim underwater in Jedi Fallen Order. Head to our guide wiki for more tips and tricks, or you can search for Twinfinite. We’ve also included some more of our guides below, because we’re nice like that.
