The trailer is a basic look at the game focusing on our hero Gran as he fights with a few other characters.

What makes it pretty peculiar compared to what we have seen so far is that it was created specifically for the western market.

We also get the conformation of the generic “Q1 2020” release window exclusively for PS4. Japan has a release date set for February 6, 2020 and Cygames initially mentioned the intention of launch simultaneously in the west, but we might have to wait a bit longer. We’ll have to wait and see.

You can watch the trailer below.

You can also check out a ton of recent screenshots, a trailer yesterday showcasing the soundtrack, another starring Zeta and Vaseraga, , one revealing Meteraone showing off the RPG Mode, a few screenshots from a few months ago, another trailer revealing Percival and his first gameplayanother video announcing the previous character Ladiva, and the video that came before featuring Lowain.

Incidentally, the original Granblue Fantasy mobile game is available for iOS, Android, and PC via browsers. If you want to give it a try to prepare for the release of Granblue Fantasy Versus, you can read my detailed guide on how to create an account, install the game, and play in English.
