Playing Ground War in Modern Warfare

First things first, it’s worth noting that at this moment in time, Ground War isn’t available in Modern Warfare. That doesn’t mean it isn’t coming at all, though.

In fact, just yesterday, Infinity Ward confirmed on its official Twitter account that Ground War would be launching on Friday evening. That’s Oct. 25… AKA today. Exactly when on Friday evening we’re not entirely sure, but basically, you can expect to be able to play the large-scale game mode without a problem by Saturday.

Once the mode goes live, it’s as simple as choosing any other game mode. Simply load up the Multiplayer option in Modern Warfare and then look for the ‘Filter’ option next to ‘Quick Play.’ Here, you can toggle which modes you want to search for and which you don’t. Simply press Y on Xbox One or Triangle on PS4 to deselect all game modes, and then choose ‘Ground War’ and press A on Xbox One or X on PS4 to confirm it.

Then it’s simply a case of searching for a game just like you would any other.
