How to Use Binoculars & Tag Enemies in Ghost Recon Breakpoint

If you enter a section of the map that is teeming with enemy soldiers, you might want to take the stealthy route to make things a bit easier for yourself.

One way to do that is to bust out your binoculars and tag enemies so that you can get a clear sense as to where everybody is, making it easier to take them out.

To take your binoculars out, you will need to simply open up your item wheel with the right bumper, or the alt key on PC, and then move your cursor or stick to the bottom-right corner to equip them.

We have a chart down below for the proper controls for each console if you need help:

PS4Hold R1
Xbox OneHold RB
PCHold Alt

Once your binoculars are equipped, you can now move around the camera to get a good look at your enemies and tag them by hovering over them.

To sum things up, here’s how to use binoculars and tag enemies in Ghost Recon Breakpoint

  1. Open up the item wheel with R1, RB, or alt.

  2. Move your cursor to the bottom-right to select the binoculars.

  3. Scan the environment and hover over enemies to tag them.

It’s also possible that they’re not there. If you need to add them to your item wheel, pause the game and go to the loadout menu, then select the item you want to swap out. The binoculars will then appear as a replacement, so just select them to add them.
