This summer, France winger Franck Ribery ended his time at Bayern Munich. There were rumors that he’d make his way to the Premier League, but he’s actually joined Fiorentina as a free agent. In case you wanted to play as him in the game, here’s everything you need to know about whether Franck Ribery is in FIFA 20.
While he spent most of the summer without a team, Ribery actually joined Fiorentina in late August, which is probably around the time that the squads for FIFA 20 were finalized by EA Sports.
Is Franck Ribery in FIFA 20?
Therefore, since he spent most of the summer without a club, it makes a fair amount of sense that the answer is yes and no.
If you want to just play kick-off against a friend, with you playing as Fiorentina, you will be able to use him and he starts at the right ST position in the team (at least for the time being).
However, if you’re playing FIFA 20’s most popular mode, Ultimate Team, Franck Ribery fans will be disappointed. As of the time of writing, he’s not in that mode at all, meaning you can’t add his card to your squad.
However, his absence may just be down to the fact that he joined a team too late to be added in to the mode.
He’ll likely be made an Ultimate Team card at a later date though. Maybe he’ll be added soon, or maybe he’ll appear as part of the Winter Refresh early next year. Either way, I’d be surprised if Franck Ribery doesn’t come to FIFA 20’s Ultimate Team mode in the next few months.
We’ll be sure to update you here when and if he does, too.
He is in offline Kick-Off but not Ultimate Team.
