The Legend of Zelda series has once again returned to the Nintendo Switch following its debut outing in Breath of the Wild in 2017, and a spin-off follow-up with Hybrid Warriors. Zelda Link’s Awakening brings the Game Boy classic title to the Nintendo Switch, with remade animations and a remastered soundtrack to make it feel at home in the current landscape of video games.

In this adventure, our titular hero Link finds himself washed ashore Koholint Island, a mysterious island filled with even more mysterious characters and enemies.

To find his way off the island and back home, Link must acquire numerous Magical Instruments to awaken the Wind Fish. Yes, it’s strange, but it’s also an incredibly good Legend of Zelda game.
