We get to see plenty of familiar characters including Tiese Shtolienen and Ronye Arabel, who according to hints by the developers will become party members for Kirito and Eugeo.

Yet, that’s not all. Cardinal makes an appearance, alongside Selka. The most interesting element is certainly a look at Asuna facing off against Alice. Looks like Kirito may be in trouble.

We also see a dialogue scene, some battle screenshots, and familiar environments.

In case you missed the details, the game follows the first season of the Alicization arc, but completely diverges from the upcoming second season, so we shouldn’t be surprised to see characters that might not appear in the anime in a given role.

Even the first arc isn’t followed to its full extent, and there will be differences like the appearance of the new heroine Medina.
