One of the fan-favorite features in previous NBA 2K games was the ability to make your own custom jumpshot. After all, if you’re personalizing your own character, you want them to have their own unique moves. In NBA 2K20, the custom jumpshot option isn’t something immediately accessible. Here’s how to unlock custom jump shots in NBA 2K20.
How to Unlock Jump Shot Creator in NBA 2K20
- Go to the Team Practice Facility in the Neighborhood.
- Complete training drills with your team until a message appears on-screen.
- You’ll then be able to immediately access the Jump Shot Creator.
- You can then access this again at any time by heading to the MyPlayer Appearance menu.
First off, you’re going to need to unlock the Jump Shot Creator. This can be done by simply heading to the Team Practice Facility in the Neighborhood. Once you’ve done this, simply keep completing training drills with your team.
Currently, there doesn’t seem to be a set amount that’ll unlock the creator in NBA 2K20. For us, it took five, but for others, it seems to have taken a few more.
After you’ve cleared a few drills, you’ll know you’ve unlocked the Creator when you see a message flash up on-screen, informing you that you can now “build your own custom jump shot using Jump Shot Creator.”
How to Change Custom Jump Shot
Now all you need to do is head to the MyPlayer Appearance menu in the Neighborhood. Select ‘Animation Store’ and then you’ll be able to choose ‘Shots’ and ‘Jump Shots’ to find a bunch of preset shots that you can purchase with VC.
If you’d rather use one of your own creations, though, you should find the creator within this very same MyPlayer Appearance menu. Tweak things however you like and then save it to have your baller rockin’ your new move.
