Update 2 10/01/19: According to some users who received a physical copy of Ghost Recon Breakpoint, they have been able to get around the Mountain 00800 error by redeeming their Year 1 Content Pass code that was in the box. Unfortunately, there’s no word on a workaround for digital copies just yet, but we’ve reached out to Ubisoft and are awaiting a response.

Update 10/01/19: Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s servers are now officially online, and despite stated downtime for maintenance, players have still seemingly struggled to begin playing the game without running into the Mountain 00800 error.

Originally, we stated this was simply a case of the game’s servers not being available at that time. However, it appears as though, according to the official Ubisoft Support website, that the error code means players “are not eligible for the Play Early Access.” This doesn’t seem correct, though, as all Gold Edition players (ourselves included) receive early access beginning today, Oct. 1.

We’ve reached out to Ubisoft to try and get further clarification on the Mountain 00800 error in Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and will continue to update this post as we learn more. For now, it’s simply a case of continuing to try and log in, and sitting tight.

Original: The Mountain 00800 error simply refers to the game’s servers or ‘services’ being available at the time you’re trying to login.

Exactly what it means by ‘services’ seems a bit unclear at the moment, considering as you can see in the screenshot we’ve included above, we also got a message stating “You are now online. You are connected to Ubisoft servers. Online features are available.”

From what we can gather, the Mountain 00800 error in Ghost Recon Breakpoint refers to issues on Ubisoft’s end, meaning that unfortunately, there’s no surefire way for players to fix it.

Instead, it’s just a case of sitting back and waiting for Ubisoft to either get the servers online again if they’ve taken them offline for maintenance, or to resolve the issue that’s preventing players from being able to access the game’s ‘services.’

Early Access & Mountain 00800 Error Code

If you’re hopping into Ghost Recon Breakpoint via early access, it may be that the game hasn’t gone live just yet or Ubisoft is suffering from a bit of a delay.

The best thing we can advise you to do here is follow the official Ghost Recon Twitter account, and let them know (in a friendly, polite manner) of the issues you’re experiencing.

We’ll continue to do our best to dig around and find any workarounds to the error, but we’ve not had any such luck just yet.

That’s everything you need to know on how to fix Mountain 00800 error code in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our guide wiki, search for Twinfinite, or have a glance at the guides below.
