Today Square Enix reached out via press release to share a new press kit with lots of assets of the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake.
The screenshots showcase the Sector 7 Slums and the Seventh Heaven bar, on top of a look at Cloud, Tifa, Barrett, and Aerith in battle.
On top of the screenshots, we also get to see more character art featuring Tifa, Barret, and Ifrit.
We can also enjoy a new gameplay video featuring the boss battle against Abzu. While the battle premiered at Tokyo Game Show, this time we get a version without the commentary to cover the lovely music and sound effects.
On top of the assets above, Square Enix also revealed the western box art for the game, which looks quite charming.
If you’d like to see and learn more about the game, you can check out the latest trailer and most recent gameplay with the reveal of the Classic Mode.
Recently, we also saw a “remake” of the original Final Fantasy VII cover artwork in the style of the upcoming game.
The first game of the Final Fantasy VII Remake will launch on PS4 on March 3, 2020. No other platforms have been announced so far.
