These are not to be confused with the popular Play Arts Kai series of action figures. They’re in fact fully static scale figures designed for display.

As a result, they don’t have joins and usually feature a higher degree of detail.

The figures revealed at Tokyo Game Show portray Cloud, Aerith, and Sephiroth. At the moment, we don’t know whether other characters are being planned.

You can check them out in the gallery below, keeping in mind that they are unpainted prototypes. Paint will, of course, be applied before they’re ready for sale.

Speaking of the Play Arts Kai series, we also get two new action figures, featuring the Turks Rude and Reno, who have just been revealed in the latest trailer.

If you’d like to see and learn more about the game, you can check out the latest trailer and most recent gameplay with the reveal of the Classic Mode.

Recently, we also saw a “remake” of the original Final Fantasy VII cover artwork in the style of the upcoming game.

The first game of the Final Fantasy VII Remake will launch on PS4 on March 3, 2020. No other platforms have been announced so far.
