Just as in previous years, FIFA 20 doesn’t just have one release date. No, that would be too easy. Instead, there’s a few different editions to choose between and ways to play the game early. So that you can start building your Ultimate Team as soon as possible, here’s everything you need to know about how to play FIFA 20 early.
EA Access came to PS4 this year, so now all PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 owners have the chance to play the full game before people who just purchase the game. However, there are other ways to play FIFA 20 early in one way or another.
Ways to Play FIFA 20 Early
Here are all the ways you can play FIFA 20 early:
- FIFA 20 Demo – Out Now
The demo can now be downloaded on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It is an older build of the game and only features Kick Off and Volta.
- Web App – Sept. 18
The Web App is due to go live on Sept. 18, allowing you to open your Ultimate Team starter packs and play the market early.
- EA Access FIFA 20 Trial – Sept. 19
EA Access subscribers will be able to play for 10 hours from 11am ET on Sept. 19.
- FIFA 20 Champions & Ultimate Editions – Sept. 24
If you pay for the more expensive versions of the game, you’ll get three days early access, as well as some other Ultimate Team bonuses.
So, the choice is up to you in terms of which way you want to play FIFA 20 early. Of course, you can always just buy the standard version when it launches on Sept. 27, but you might be behind the curve slightly if you’re an Ultimate Team fan.
If Ultimate Team isn’t for you though, there’s not really much of a need to play the full game early.
